Born in Flames

BORN IN FLAMES is a feminist future vision of an America that only superficially recognises equal rights for women despite a socialist cultural revolution having taken place. Out of rage at empty socialist promises, an army of radical women declares war on sexism and racism. Their initially non-violent campaign escalates when one of their leaders dies in prison under mysterious circumstances. Kathryn Bigelow appears in her only acting role as the editor of a feminist magazine.
